Tera Patrick was born in Montana on July 25, 1976, the daughter of a Thai mother and English father. The family soon moved to San Francisco, where Tera did the bulk of her growing up. Tera's mother moved back to Thailand shortly after, leaving Tera Patrick with her father. At the age of thirteen, she was spotted by a talent scout while wandering around Fisherman's Wharf wearing an Ozzy Ozbourne t-shirt. Tera soon signed with the Ford Agency and spent the next five years working as a mainstream model.
